The Exaro Installer.
One small Windows program that installs and updates every Exaro tool. Sign in once and pick what you want.
How it works
- Run it. Open
ExaroInstaller.exefrom your downloads. - Connect. Click Connect and confirm in your browser. You only do this once.
- Pick your tools. Click Install next to any tool. Exaro for Unreal asks for your
.uprojectfile and Exaro for Godot asks for your project folder, so close the editor first. Exaro Drawing and Exaro Sound go in your Start menu. - Activate. Paste your licence key into the tool the first time you open it. Your key is in your account, and the setup guides show where it goes in each tool.
Updates
Open the Exaro Installer and click Update next to any tool with a new version. The installer keeps itself up to date.
Using Exaro in more than one project? Click Add to project to put it in another one.
Removing it
Remove Exaro or Exaro Drawing in Windows under Settings › Apps. Removing the Exaro Installer leaves your tools in place. To remove Exaro Sound, delete %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Exaro Sound and its Start menu entry. To remove Exaro from a project, delete its plugin or add-on folder from that project.
Rather install by hand?
Every tool can still be downloaded on its own from your library. On Fab? Install from there as usual.
Exaro tools are covered by the EULA and our Privacy Policy.
