EXARO FOR GODOT · BETA · GODOT 4.7 AND NEWER

Put your AI inside the Godot editor.

Exaro for Godot gives your AI 138 tools in the open editor. It builds scenes, writes and checks GDScript, plays the game to test it and looks at the result. Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any MCP client on your own subscription, or just type in the Exaro dock.

  • Scenes and nodes
  • GDScript
  • Playtesting
  • Characters and gameplay
  • UI and navigation
  • Exaro Drawing and Sound

Beta · Godot 4.7 or newer · Tested on Windows

Built in Godot with Exaro for Godot and captured from the engine: six Heavy Bombers from the Exaro marketplace, running their own engine animation with the gear retracted.
BUILD

Ask for it in the dock, or from the AI you already use.

The Exaro dock takes plain-English requests and carries them out in the open editor, through your own Claude Code subscription with no API key. Prefer another client? Connect it to the local MCP server the add-on starts.

  • Scenes, nodes, materials, cameras, particles, lighting and fog
  • Playable characters for side-view, top-view, first-person and third-person games
  • Enemies, doors, pickups, HUDs, menus, saves and dialogue
  • Every edit goes through the editor's undo history, so Ctrl+Z works on your AI's changes

Marketplace assets import straight in: the Heavy Bomber on a sunset airfield, rendered in Godot.
PLAY AND CHECK

Your AI plays the game, not just the script.

Exaro starts the game, holds actions and keys, inspects nodes while it runs, reads the log and takes screenshots. Scripts are parse-checked before they are written, and an edit that does not parse is refused.

  • Run the game, send it input and read back what happened
  • Screenshots of the editor viewport or the running game
  • Level audits that report problems with their fixes, plus snapshots
  • Navigation paths verified as reachable

THE EXARO FAMILY

Art and sound arrive ready for Godot.

Exaro for Godot works with the rest of Exaro Studio. Your AI can run Exaro Drawing and Exaro Sound from the editor and bring the results straight into the project, and it can search the marketplace and import what you own.

  • Sprite sheets become SpriteFrames, one animation per tag
  • Tile maps become a TileSet and a painted map
  • Each sound event becomes an AudioStreamRandomizer, with variations and no repeats
  • Optional image generation through ComfyUI on your own GPU, or Gemini with your own key
